Important Equipment Requirements

DOCSIS 3.0 and older equipment is grandfathered. These devices are no longer eligible for new activations, service moves, or plan changes where DOCSIS 3.1 equipment is required by the applicable last-mile network.

Firmware matters. A modem model appearing on the approved list does not necessarily mean every firmware or software version of that modem is supported.

Using customer-owned hardware? Wakey cannot provide warranty coverage, guarantees, or technical support for third-party equipment.

Any service issue determined to be caused by customer-owned or customer-maintained hardware remains the customer's responsibility.

A Quick Note About Compatibility

Network equipment requirements can change over time as our last-mile network partners update their platforms, firmware and DOCSIS requirements.

Before purchasing a modem specifically for Wakey service, we strongly recommend confirming the model and firmware with our team first.

* Equipment models are subject to inventory and network availability. Maximum Internet speeds depend on network availability, subscribed service, modem and router capabilities, connected devices, Wi-Fi conditions and other factors.
